Silence” is an intimate study of the tension between calm and suppressed emotion. The photograph works with reduction, stillness, and proximity, creating a space for introspection and personal interpretation. The work is part of the authorial series Sweet Home, which explores themes of family, safety, and the fragility of one’s inner space.
The photograph was awarded 2nd place in the Federation of European Photographers (FEP) competition in 2014, and further received recognition in the MonoVisions Photography Awards 2021 and ND Awards 2021. The work has also been presented in a number of exhibitions in the Czech Republic and internationally, where it has been included in selections of contemporary fine art photography.
The prints are produced on archival, 100% cotton papers of the highest quality (Hahnemühle Photo Rag®), using pigment-based inks that meet museum standards. These materials ensure long-term stability, color fidelity, and depth of image, with a lifespan exceeding 100 years under proper conditions.
Each print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and is hand-signed, numbered, titled, and dated on the reverse. A white border is included with each print to allow for professional framing.
